MDEMC is a film production company based in Stockholm, Sweden. Its focus is auteur films and the development of specific artistic processes in every production, high artistic quality, daring analytic work and experimental aesthetics. MDEMC produces full feature and short documentaries and fiction films, such as Second Class, Crisis Document. A Survival Guide, The Traffic Lights Turn Blue Tomorrow and Not Panic.
MDEMC has established itself as a successful independent film production company with high quality films screened in some of the most important international film festivals and platforms such as Hot Docs, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, GIFF, Leipzig film festival, Transmediale among others.
Together with the filmmakers, other artists and academics MDEMC constantly aims to create broader contexts for their films and experiments with how film can take an active part in the public conversation.
MDEMC was founded in 2009 by Elisabeth Marjanović Cronvall and Marta Dauliūtė
